Freelance Web Developer

A web developer who sweats the details.

Most people don’t care what their website is built with, and they shouldn’t have to. What matters is that it loads quickly, works on every device, your team can update it without calling a developer, and it brings in enquiries. That’s my job.

What I actually do

  • Front-end that holds up

Twenty years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I build your design so it looks right on every screen, and so it still holds together when your content grows.

  • Fast on real connections

I build to a performance budget, so your pages load quickly on an average phone on average broadband, not just on a developer’s machine.

  • Accessible to everyone

Around one in five people in the UK has a disability. I build to WCAG standards so your site works for them too.

  • Easy to keep updated

You shouldn’t need me to change a headline. I build the admin side so your team can get on with it themselves.

Internet Inspired has been a massive help with the development and launch of our new website. Seth’s support is always quick, clear and practical, and he genuinely takes the time to understand what we’re trying to achieve rather than treating it as just another development job.

I’d happily recommend Seth to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable web developer who’s easy to work with and always focused on finding the right solution.

The tech, and why it matters to you

Most of what I build runs on Craft CMS. It’s fast, secure, and one of the few content management systems that non-technical people actually enjoy using. You don’t have to care about that. If you do, I’ve written about why I choose Craft and how it compares to WordPress. If you already know you want a Craft build, start here.

Seth not only delivered great UX solutions, he also helped find solutions to the myriad commercial concerns and issues that accompanied our new business model. I’d recommend Seth without reservation.

Common questions

  • No. Craft is what I recommend and what I know best, but if there's a good reason to use something else, tell me and we'll talk it through honestly.

  • Yes, and that's most of my work. Send me Figma, Sketch, XD, Affinity, or a PDF and I'll build it.

  • Hourly work is £80, and day rates start at £450. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

  • Lowdham, in Nottinghamshire, a few miles outside Nottingham. I work UK hours, so you can reach me when you're at your desk, and I'll come to you if the project needs it. If you are a business near Nottingham, there is more detail on working together locally.

Skip the agency. Keep the quality.
